1978, the General Construction Loan of 1978, to change the
object of a certain appropriation of unexpended proceeds
from "Convert old Dining Hall to Recreation/Multi-Purpose
Building..." to "Demolish Old Dining Hall and Wood Shop...";
amending Chapter 724 of the Acts of 1981, the General
Construction Loan of 1981, to change the object of a certain
appropriation from "To supplement the appropriation,
'Acquisition of land in the vicinity of the Maryland
Penitentiary...'" to "Prepare detailed plans and
specifications, demolish existing structures, and prepare
site for construction of 300-cell maximum-security
correctional facility at a site in Baltimore City selected
by the Governor, on Baltimore Gas and Electric #1 site
making construction funds subject to certain legislative
approval, requiring meetings with certain local groups
(Baltimore City)"; amending Chapter 520 of the Acts of 1982,
the General Construction Loan of 1982, as amended by Chapter
670 of the Acts of 1983, to permit the alteration and
expansion of the central warehouse for use as a central
kitchen and the modification of existing kitchens at the
Hagerstown Correctional Complex; amending Chapter 670 of the
Acts of 1983, the General Construction Loan of 1983, to
increase the appropriation for the replenishment of the
Capital Grant Fund for Historical Preservation of the
Maryland Historical Trust in an amount equal to the
appropriation for the stabilization and improvements to the
Wallace-Carter Mill (Cecil County) and to repeal the
individual appropriation for the Wallace-Carter Mill (Cecil
County); and amending Chapter 82 of the Acts of 1984, the
General Construction Loan of 1984, to change the location of

a planned waterfowl hatchery from Wye Island Natural

Resources Management Area (Queen Anne's County) to Horn
Point Environmental Laboratories (Dorchester County) and to
delete the prohibitions on expenditure until detailed plans
for the hatchery are approved by the Budget Committees
delete an authorization to use a certain amount to construct
a certain waterfowl hatchery at the Wye Island Natural
Resources Management Area, and instead authorize use of the
same amount to construct certain water system improvements
and design certain sewerage system improvements at the Fair
Hill Natural Resources Management Area add on authorization
to assist in the development of a water supply system at the
Ocean City Convention Center and to increase the
authorization to design an anadromous fish hatchery and to
include site improvements at Mt. Airy Mansion as part of the
authorization to design, construct and equip various
recreational facilities at Rosaryville State Park and to
include land acquisition, design, and construction of a
sewage treatment plant as part of the authorization to
construct a 1,500-cell medium-security facility in Somerset
County.
