29.01.01.02 Operating Grants-In-Aid

Special Fund Appropriation,
provided that $460,000 of this

appropriation made for the

purpose of a local ride-on bus
subsidy for Prince George's
County may not be expended unless

the____Prince George's County

government certifies that a
ride-on bus system will be in
place during fiscal year 1986 and

unless this expenditure is

approved by the Budget

Committees. Unless the

Department receives such

certification and notifies the
Budget Committees by July 1,
1985, these funds shall revert to
the Transportation Trust Fund....

29.01.01.03 Facilities and Capital
Equipment

Special Fund Appropriation,
provided that $3,500,000 of this

appropriation for the

Transportation Development Fund
shall be used to initiate or
accelerate highway projects that

are directly related to

stimulating economic development
with particular emphasis on the
State's high technology strategy.
Highway projects such as the
reconstruction of a portion of
Maryland Route 118 may be funded
from this appropriation with
funds used to expedite the

planning, engineering and

right-of-way acquisition and this
project shall be included in the

construction program. The

Department shall submit a report
to the Budget Committees by July
1, 1985 outlining the proposed
use of this appropriation. ,

purpose of a Transportation
