SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.

AN ACT concerning

Howard County - Alcoholic Beverages - Social Events in

Veterans Organizations Halls

Ho. Co. 215A-85

FOR the purpose of providing that in Howard County certain
prohibitions against bringing alcoholic beverages, for
purposes of consumption, on the premises of the holder of an
alcoholic beverages license do not apply to social events
held in a hall rented from and located on the premises of a
veterans organization licensed under Article 2B ("Alcoholic
Beverages") of the Code.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

licensed premises of any license holder any alcoholic beverages
not purchased from the license holder on said premises and not
permitted by this article to be consumed on the premises; and it
