FOR the purpose of restating the types of Class D beer, wine and
liquor licenses that the Howard County board of license
commissioners may issue and the annual fee for each; and
clarifying the place where the purchaser may consume the
alcoholic beverages purchased under each type of license.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

21.

[(g) In Howard County there shall be two type Class D beer,
wine and liquor licenses. There shall be a seven-day license
for which the annual license fee is $1,000 and a six-day license
for which such fee is $800. The board of license commissioners
of Howard County may, upon the filing of an application for any
new Class D beer, wine and liquor license, limit the sale of
alcoholic beverages to consumption only on the premises. The
annual license fee for a limited Class D license shall be $1,000
for a seven-day license and $600 for a six-day license.]

(G) IN HOWARD COUNTY, THE BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS
MAY ISSUE THE FOLLOWING TYPES OF CLASS D BEER, WINE AND LIQUOR
LICENSES:

(1) (I) A 7-DAY (ON-SALE) CLASS D BEER, WINE AND
LIQUOR LICENSE FOR ON PREMISE CONSUMPTION ONLY;

(II) THE ANNUAL FEE IS $1,000;

(2) (I) A 6-DAY (ON-SALE) CLASS D BEER, WINE AND
LIQUOR LICENSE FOR ON PREMISE CONSUMPTION ONLY;

(II) THE ANNUAL FEE IS $600;

(3) (I) A 7-DAY (ON- AND OFF-SALE) CLASS D BEER, WINE
AND LIQUOR LICENSE FOR ON AND OFF PREMISE CONSUMPTION;
