(7) IN ADDITION TO THE SALARY AND EXPENSES PROVIDED
TO EACH COMMISSIONER UNDER THIS SUBSECTION, EACH COMMISSIONER IS
ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE HEALTH CARE PLAN THAT IS
NEGOTIATED FOR COUNTY EMPLOYEES.

Article 10 - Attorneys at Law and Attorneys in Fact

40.

(h) (1) In Cecil County, (1) the State's Attorney's salary
is $22,500 a year and he may serve part time. In addition to the
compensation provided for in this section, the State's Attorney[,
for]:

(I)  FOR the operation of his office and the
performance of his duties, shall be entitled to a reasonable
expense allowance which shall be subject to the approval of the
Board of County Commissioners; AND

(II)  IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE HEALTH
CARE PLAN THAT IS NEGOTIATED FOR COUNTY EMPLOYEES.

Article 25 - County Commissioners

51.

(u) (1) The salary of the county treasurer of Cecil County
is $21,000. The treasurer may not receive any other income for
performing the duties of his office.

(2) IN ADDITION TO ANY SALARY AND EXPENSES PROVIDED
TO THE TREASURER BY LAW, THE TREASURER IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE
IN THE HEALTH CARE PLAN THAT IS NEGOTIATED FOR COUNTY EMPLOYEES.

Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings

2-309.

(i)(l)(i) The Sheriff of Cecil County shall receive an
annual salary of $20,000 and $4,800 per year in lieu of lodging
at the jail. THE SHERIFF ALSO IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE
HEALTH CARE PLAN THAT IS NEGOTIATED FOR COUNTY EMPLOYEES.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, pursuant to
Article III, § 35, of the Constitution of Maryland, this Act may
not be construed to extend or apply to the salary or compensation
of the Cecil County Commissioners, Treasurer, Sheriff, or State's
Attorney in office on the effective date of this Act, but the
provisions of this Act concerning the salary or compensation of
the Cecil County Commissioners, Treasurer, Sheriff, or State's
Attorney shall take effect at the beginning of the next following
term of the respective offices.
