AN ACT concerning
Somerset County - County Commissioners - Salary
FOR the purpose of increasing the annual salary of the Somerset
County Commissioners acting as County Commissioners;
increasing the salary of the County Commissioners acting as
the County Roads Board; and providing that this Act does not
affect the incumbents.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 20 - Somerset County
7.
There are five County Commissioners for Somerset County, who
hold office for four years, and until their successors are
elected and qualified. Each Commissioner shall receive an annual
salary of [$2,750] $3,750. Each Commissioner may receive
reimbursement of no more than $1,500 a year for food and mileage
expenses for any official duties. The County Commissioner shall
submit a reimbursement voucher for each excursion, signed by 3 of
the 5 Commissioners.
77.
The members of the County Roads Board for Somerset County
shall each receive, in addition to their compensation as County
Commissioners, a salary of [$2,750] $3,750 annually as a member
of the County Roads Board; and in consideration of the additional
services to be performed by him under this subheading, the County
Treasurer shall receive a salary of $600 annually; and the County
Roads Board will meet concurrently with the County Commissioners
of Somerset County as often as the County Roads Board may deem
necessary for the proper performance of their duties.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, pursuant to
Article III, § 35, of the Constitution of Maryland, this Act may
not be construed to extend or apply to the salary or compensation
