AN ACT concerning

Insurance Fees

FOR the purpose of imposing a fee for the valuation by the
Insurance Commissioner of annuity contracts issued by
insurers.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 48A - Insurance Code

41.

The Commissioner shall collect in advance, and the persons
so served shall pay the following fees to the Commissioner:

(14) FOR VALUING THE RESERVE LIABILITIES FOR
OUTSTANDING ANNUITY CONTRACTS, PER MILLION DOLLARS OF RESERVE OR
ANY FRACTIONAL PART OF IT...................'.............$ 25.00
