SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

34.

(b) (1) In Harford County, the liquor control board may
approve the issuance of a (WBT) license. The license is issued
only to holders of a (BWL) or a (BW) license.

(2) The license permits the consumption for tasting
or sampling purposes only, on premises, of light wine and beer,
for no more than [one period of 2 consecutive days in any month]
24 DAYS IN ANY LICENSING PERIOD. The licensee shall notify the
liquor control board at least 7 days prior to exercising the
provisions of his license, of his intent to do so.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.

AN ACT concerning

Cecil County - Volunteer Length of Service Award Program

FOR the purpose of permitting the Cecil County Commissioners to
establish and fund a Volunteer Length of Service Award
Program for certain members of volunteer fire departments,
rescue squads, and ambulance corps in Cecil County;
providing certain service credits for persons subject to the
provisions of this Act; providing that the County
Commissioners, by resolution, may adopt bylaws for the
Program; providing that certain specific provisions may be
