vehicle or vehicles and sells those vehicles on a salvage
certificate. The automotive dismantler and recycler will be
limited to rebuilding 5 vehicles pursuant to [§ 15-101 of this
title] THIS SECTION.

15-204.

(b) The annual license fee for a manufacturer or a
distributor is based on the combined number of new motor
[vehicles,] VEHICLES and new two-stage vehicles transferred by
the manufacturer or distributor to dealers in this State during
the preceding license year, according to the following schedule:

(1)   1 to 50 vehicles — $ 50;

(2)  51 to 500 vehicles -- $ 150;

(3)  501 to 10,000 vehicles -- $ 250; and

(4)  Over 10,000 vehicles — $ 500.
15-308.

(b)  The amount of the surety bond shall be:

[(i)] (1) For a licensee who is licensed to
deal only in trailers or semitrailers 15 feet or less in length,
or only in boat trailers of any size -- $1,000;

[(ii)] (2) For any other licensee -- $15,000.

15-311.

(c)  When a vehicle arrives for delivery, the dealer shall
advise the buyer of:

[(i)] (1) Any extra items ordered by the buyer
that are not on the vehicle;

[(ii)] (2) Any extra items on the vehicle that
the buyer did not order; and

[(iii)] (3) The cost of these extra items.

15-502.

(a) A person may not conduct the business of an automotive
dismantler and recycler or a scrap processor, or engage in the
business of purchasing vehicles which are to be dismantled in
whole or in part by that person for the sale of usable [parts]
PARTS, unless the person is licensed by the Administration under
this subtitle.
