[(m)] (K) "State Board" means the State Administrative
Board of Election Laws.

[(n)] (L) "Treasurer" includes a campaign subtreasurer.

31-3.

(f)   In a general election a political party may spend in
support of a candidate of the political party the greater of $250
or 1/4 cent per person for the population in the area from which
the candidate seeks to be elected in addition to the expenditure
limit set forth in [paragraph (a)] SUBSECTION (A) OF THIS
SECTION.

(g)  Provisions in [§ 31-3] THIS SECTION shall not be
applicable to any primary or general election held prior to
January 1, 1986.

32-6.

(b) If a nominee dies, declines a nomination, or becomes
disqualified for an office too late for the foregoing provisions
of this section to be implemented, the name of the nominee shall
remain on the ballot and, if that nominee receives a number of
votes sufficient for election pursuant to § 32-5 of this
[subtitle] ARTICLE had he not died or been disqualified, the
vacancy in office shall be filled as if the vacancy had occurred
during the term of office for which the election is being held.

Article 40A - Maryland Public Ethics Law

6A-101.

(a)  This section governs conflict of interest provisions
for school officials.

(b)  The provisions adopted under Section 6-101 of this
article by any county or the City of Baltimore shall apply after
December 31, 1983, to the members and employees of the school
board of that county or city unless that board adopts, as
provided in subsection (c) of this section, conflict of interest
regulations applicable to those members and employees.

(c)  (1) Each school board may adopt conflict of interest
regulations applicable to members and employees of that board
pursuant to this [paragraph] SECTION.

(2) The regulations adopted pursuant to this section,
except as may be required to make them relevant to the prevention
of conflicts of interest in that school system, shall be similar
to the provisions of Title 3 of this article.

6A-201.

(a) This section governs the filing of financial disclosure
statements by members and employees of each school board.
