AN ACT concerning

Dorchester County - Alcoholic Beverages License

FOR the purpose of including Dorchester County among those
counties that may issue a Class B (on and off-sale) beer and
light wine license; mandating that this license be issued
only to restaurants; requiring that the license be issued
without seating capacity restrictions; establishing an
annual fee; providing a certain purchase restriction;
determining the days and hours for sale; and generally
relating to a Class B (on and off-sale) beer and light wine
alcoholic beverages license in Dorchester County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

(a) A Class B beer and light wine license shall be issued
by the clerk of the circuit court of the county in which the
place of business is located, and shall authorize the holder
thereof to keep for sale and sell beer and light wines at retail
at any hotel or restaurant, at the place therein described, for
