administration and enforcement of the alcoholic beverage laws in
Wicomico County. For the purposes of the alcoholic beverage
laws, the part-time inspector shall have all the powers of a
peace officer or sheriff of the State of Maryland. He shall make
oath faithfully to perform the duties entrusted to him, as
provided in Article I, [§ 6] § 9 of the MARYLAND Constitution [of
Maryland]. The part-time inspector shall furnish a bond in the
amount of $2,000 to the board of license commissioners and
Wicomico County, jointly, conditioned that he will well and
faithfully execute his office in all things pertaining thereto.
The cost of the bond shall be paid by Wicomico County.

209.

(a) The subdivisions enumerated in this subsection may
adopt ordinances or resolutions supplementing this subheading.
This includes the authority to regulate possession or consumption
of any alcoholic beverage on any public property, property used
by the public in general, or on any highway:

(8) [And Garrett counties] GARRETT COUNTY.

Article 10 - Attorneys at Law and Attorneys in Fact

40.

(h) In Cecil County, (2) The State's Attorney may appoint 6
assistant State's attorneys to serve part time at the pleasure of
the State's Attorney. The first assistant State's attorney's
salary shall be not less than $15,000 a year and [of] the
remaining assistant State's attorneys' salaries shall be not less
than $13,000 a year each.

(1) In Garrett County:

(5) (ii) A State's Attorney's investigator:

4. Shall have at least:

A.  10 years law enforcement experience in
a federal, State, or county law enforcement agency; or

B.   [At least] 5 years law enforcement
experience in a federal, State, or county law enforcement agency
and an associate of arts or bachelor of arts degree in police
science or criminology from an accredited institution of higher
education;

(c) Any attorney wilfully violating the provisions of this
section, in addition to the penalties set forth in subsection (b)
of this section, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor for each such
violation [and] AND, on conviction thereof, shall be fined not
more than five thousand dollars ($5,000) or be imprisoned for not
