Annotated Code of Maryland

(1981 Replacement Volume and 1983 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 25 - County Commissioners

5E.

THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF CHARLES COUNTY MAY:

(1)  SELL THE COUNTY'S INTEREST IN ANY REAL,
LEASEHOLD, OR PERSONAL PROPERTY TO ANY MUNICIPALITY OR
GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY IN CHARLES COUNTY FOR PUBLIC USE WITHOUT
PUBLIC SALE WHEN THE PROPERTY IS NO LONGER NEEDED FOR PUBLIC
COUNTY USE;

(2)  ARRANGE THE TERMS, CONDITIONS AND AMOUNT OF
CONSIDERATION, IF ANY, FOR ANY SALE MADE UNDER PARAGRAPH (l) OF
THIS SECTION; AND

(3)  EXECUTE AND ACKNOWLEDGE ANY DEEDS AND INSTRUMENTS
NECESSARY TO COMPLETE ANY SALE MADE PURSUANT TO PARAGRAPH (1) OF
THIS SECTION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.

AN ACT concerning

Alimony

FOR the purpose of providing that a court may award alimony for a
period beginning before from the filing of any pleading
requesting alimony; and generally relating to alimony.
