(1)   Is at least 9 inches in height and 12 inches in
width; and

(2)   States: "Under the laws of this State, all
purchasers of poisons must sign the record of purchase".]

A person may not:

(1)  Knowingly make any false or misleading entry in a
poison register; or

(2)  Use any false name or make any other
misrepresentation to obtain a controlled poison.]

A person who violates any provision of this subtitle or any
rule or regulation adopted under this subtitle is guilty of a
misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding
$100.]

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.

AN ACT concerning

Barbiturates - Control - Repeal

FOR the purpose of repealing certain definitions and provisions
relating to the control of barbiturates and certain sleep
inducing drugs; repealing certain recordkeeping requirements
for barbiturates; repealing certain restrictions on the
delivery of barbiturates; repealing a certain penalty
provision; and generally relating to the repeal of certain
provisions of the barbiturate law.
