Article - Health Occupations
7-310.

(c)  Before a license expires, the licensee periodically may
renew it for an additional term, if the licensee:

(1)  Otherwise is entitled to be licensed;

(2)  Pays to the Board [a]:

(I) A renewal fee of $20; [and] OR

(II)  A RENEWAL FEE OF NOT MORE THAN $2 THAT IS
SET BY THE BOARD IF THE LICENSEE CERTIFIES TO THE BOARD THAT THE
LICENSEE PROVIDES PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ONLY AS A VOLUNTEER TO A
VOLUNTARY NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION; AND

(3)  Submits to the Board a renewal application on the
form that the Board requires.

(d) (1) The board shall renew the license of each licensee
who meets the requirements of this section.

(2) A VOLUNTEER'S LICENSE ISSUED UNDER PARAGRAPH
(C)(2)(II) OF THIS SECTION SHALL BE CLEARLY DESIGNATED AS A
VOLUNTEER'S LICENSE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.

(House Bill 538)

AN ACT concerning

Howard County - Alcoholic Beverages Licenses

FOR the purpose of requiring that certain personal property taxes
be paid prior to the Howard County Board of License
Commissioners renewing, amending, transferring, or changing
the classification of transferring any alcoholic beverages
license; and generally relating to the payment of certain
property taxes and alcoholic beverages licenses in Howard
County.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
