(A) APPLICANTS FOR THE FIRST GRADE STATIONARY ENGINEER'S (1) A SECOND GRADE STATIONARY ENGINEER LICENSE FOR 1 (2) FIVE YEARS OR MORE OPERATING EXPERIENCE IN A (3) A DEGREE IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING FROM AN (4) A VALID MARINE ENGINEER'S CERTIFICATE OR A CHIEF (B) APPLICANTS FOR THE SECOND GRADE STATIONARY ENGINEER'S (1) EMPLOYMENT FOR AT LEAST 24 MONTHS (3,500 WORKING (2) EMPLOYMENT AS A THIRD GRADE STATIONARY ENGINEER (3) A VALID MARINE ENGINEER'S CERTIFICATE OR CHIEF (C) APPLICANTS FOR A THIRD OR FOURTH GRADE STATIONARY (D) AN APPLICANT FOR ANY EXAMINATION MAY SUBSTITUTE 2 YEARS [4-4.] 4-5.
