Article - Education

16-503.

The Board of Community College Trustees for Baltimore County
consists of [nine] 9 members appointed by the Governor, with the
advice and consent of the Senate. Of the members:

(1)  [One serves] 2 SERVE at large; and

(2)  [Eight serve from the eight legislative districts
in Baltimore County, one from each district.] 7 SERVE FROM THE 7
LEGISLATIVE DISTRICTS LOCATED WHOLLY WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF
BALTIMORE COUNTY, 1 FROM EACH DISTRICT.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall

take effect July 1, 1984.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety and having
been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of
all the members elected to each of the two Houses of the General
Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date of its
passage.

AN ACT concerning

Education - Advertising Bids

FOR the purpose of altering the minimum amounts over which bids
for school construction, improvements, supplies, or
equipment must be advertised in certain newspapers.
