504                                               LAWS OF MARYLAND                                         Ch. 112

(a)  A majority of the members then serving on the Board is
a quorum to do business.

(b)  The Board shall determine the times and places of its
meetings.

(c)  Each member of the Board is entitled to:

(1)  Compensation in accordance with the State budget;
and

(2)  Reimbursement for expenses under the Standard
State Travel Regulations, as provided in the State budget.

(d)  (1) The Board may employ a staff in accordance with the
State budget.

(2) THE BOARD MAY DESIGNATE 1 OF ITS STAFF AS AN
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.

(Senate Bill 325)

AN ACT concerning

Higher Education - Community Colleges - Board
of Trustees - Baltimore County

FOR the purpose of altering the number of at-large members of the
Board of Community College Trustees for Baltimore County;
and altering the number of members who represent the
legislative districts of Baltimore County on the Board of
Community College Trustees for Baltimore County; and making
this Act an emergency measure.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
