AN EMERGENCY ACT to repeal and reenact with amendments
Section 52-21, title "Levied; amount", subsection (d) and Section
52-19, title "Definitions", of Article II, title "Real Property
Transfer Tax", of Chapter 52, title "Taxation", of the Montgomery
County Code, 1972, as amended, to provide that improvements and
land not subject to the farmland transfer tax, and transferred as
part of a transaction including farmland, shall be subject to a
transfer tax at an applicable rate; to clarify the definitions of
"consideration" and "transfer", and to define "act or operation
of law".

Effective April 1, 1983.

AN EMERGENCY ACT to amend Section 11B-12, title "Formal Bid
Procedure" of Division I, title "Competitive Bidding" of Article
II, title "Methods of Procurement" of Chapter 11B, title
"Contracts, Procurement Matters and Public Ethics" of the
Montgomery County Code 1972, as amended, for the purpose of
conforming County bonding requirements with those of the State.

Effective April 1, 1983.

AN EMERGENCY ACT to amend Chapter 33, title "Personnel" of
the Montgomery County Code 1972, as amended, by amending Section
33-76, title "Payroll Deduction for Child Support" for the
purpose of renumbering the Section and providing for the
promulgation of Executive Regulations and clarifying the
procedure for filing objections.

Effective April 18, 1983.
