Frederick County, as found in the compilation of Municipal
Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.

Effective Date February 2, 1984]

WESTMINSTER

(Carroll County)

RESOLUTION NO. R83-1

(Annexation No. 14 - Westminster Nurseries - Weis Market)

WHEREAS, a petition has been presented to the Mayor and
Common Council of Westminster to enlarge the corporate
boundaries of the City by the annexation of land adjoining and
contiguous to the existing northeast corporate boundaries; and

WHEREAS, the President of the Council has caused to be made
a verification of the signatures upon said petition and has
determined that the persons signing the petition represent owners
of at least twenty-five percentum (25%) of the assessed valuation
of the real property located in the area to be annexed.

[Pursuant to Section 2 of the Charter of the City of
Westminster, Carroll County, as found in the compilation of
Municipal Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition).

Effective Date July 22, 1983]

RESOLUTION NO. R84-1

(Annexation No. 18 - Lincoln Road and Westminster Avenue extended)

WHEREAS, a petition has been presented to the Mayor and
Common Council of Westminster to enlarge the corporate boundaries
of the City by the annexation of land adjoining and contiguous to
the existing corporate boundaries; and

WHEREAS, the President of the Council has caused to be made
a verification of the signatures upon said petition and has
ascertained that the persons signing the petition represent at
least twenty-five per centum (25%) of the persons who reside in
the area to be annexed, and who are registered voters in county
elections in the precinct or precincts in which the territory to
be annexed is located, and the owners of at least twenty-five
percentum (25%) of the assessed valuation of the real property
located in the area to be annexed.
