Resolution No. 84-R-01

Resolution of the Council of Landover Hills, Maryland, adopted
pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E of the Constitution of
the State of Maryland and Article 23A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1957 edition, as amended), title:
"Corporation-Municipal," to repeal and reenact with amendments,
the Charter of said Town of Landover Hills.

Whereas, the present Charter of Landover Hills was enacted
on 28 June 1980, by the Town Council, and adopted in the Laws of
Maryland, Chapter 465, 1945, as amended or replaced.

Whereas, this Charter serves as the basic instrument of
government for the Town of Landover Hills;

Whereas, changes in the Town's needs require that the
Charter be kept up to date in reflecting these changes;

Whereas, this document is not up to date in its present form
and language in reflecting current Town needs;

Whereas, certain changes in the Charter have been proposed
by the Landover Hills Council;

[Section(s) 101 through 1206   repealed, and Section(s) 101

through 1106 added of the Charter of  the Town of Landover Hills,

Prince George's County, as found in  the compilation of Municipal
Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition).

RESOLUTION NO. FIRST 1983 ANNEXATION

A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF LAUREL BY
THE ADDITION THERETO OF SECTION NO. 218, ENTITLED FIRST 1983
ANNEXATION, PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY
KNOWN AS LAUREL LAKES AND FOR THE PLACING OF SAID PROPERTY IN THE
PLANNED DEVELOPMENT AREA ZONE.

[Section 218 of the Charter of the City of Laurel, Prince
George's County, as found in the compilation of Municipal
Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition), added.
