MUNICIPAL CHARTERS

WHEREAS, a new and modern Charter has been proposed by the
President and Commissioners of the Town of Hillsborough.

[Sections 237 through 264 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Caroline County, repealed and Sections 100 through 1403
Charter of the Town of Hillsborough, Caroline County, as found in
the compilation of Municipal Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition),
added.

Effective Date September 8, 1983]

KITZMILLERSVILLE

(Garrett County)

AMENDMENT TO TOWN CHARTER

WHEREAS, Section 21 of the Public Local Laws of Garrett
County, Maryland, sets forth the charter of the Town of
Kitzmillersville, and, whereas by resolution of the Mayor and
Council of said Town at its regular meeting of September 7, 1983,
it resolved to replace the existing charter.

AND, WHEREAS in such situations the law provides for
publication of a fair summary of the variations from the Model
Charter set forth in Article 23B of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, as amended, the following is published as such:

In addition to publication of these variances, the entire
proposed new charter shall be on deposit for inspection by
interested citizens at the Town Hall on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to
1:00 p.m., and at the Town Branch of Ruth Enlow Library on
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from Noon to 5:00 p.m., and on
Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Unless a petition for referendum is duly filed, this new
charter shall take effect fifty days from September 7, 1983, and
shall be filed with the appropriate State agencies at Annapolis,
Maryland.

through 102 of the Charter of the Town of Kitzmillersville,
