RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HAGERSTOWN TO
ENLARGE THE CORPORATE BOUNDARIES AND THEREBY AMEND SECTION 104 OF
ARTICLE I OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF HAGERSTOWN AS SET FORTH
IN CHAPTER 1 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF HAGERSTOWN, MARYLAND, AND
AT THE SAME TIME ESTABLISH THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF THE AREA
TO BE ANNEXED.

Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.

TO AMEND THE MUNICIPAL CHARTER
SECTION 717. BOND ISSUES - BORROWING
TO ALLOW NEGOTIATED PRIVATE BOND SALES
RESOLUTION of the Mayor and Council of the City of
Hagerstown, Maryland, pursuant to Article XI-E, Section 4, of the
Constitution of the State of Maryland, entitled "MUNICIPAL
CORPORATIONS, PROCEDURE FOR ADOPTION, AMENDMENT OR REPEAL OF
CHARTERS"; and pursuant to Article 23-A of the Annotated Code of
the Public General Laws of Maryland, entitled "Corporations,
Municipal, Charter Amendments", as said sections were enacted by
Chapter 423 of the Laws of Maryland, 1955, and were enacted by
Chapter 423 of the Laws of Maryland, 1955, and subsequent
amendments thereto; to amend the now existing Section 717 of the
Municipal Charter of the City of Hagerstown entitled BOND ISSUES
BORROWING, and to amend said Municipal Charter by allowing
negotiated private bond sales.
