CHARTER AMENDMENT
RESOLUTION NO. 02-83
RESOLUTION of the Council of Fairmount Heights, Maryland,
adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E of the
Constitution of the State of Maryland and Article 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition, as amended), title:
"Corporations - Municipal," to repeal and re-enact the Charter of
said Fairmount Heights of Prince George's County as set forth in
Sections 30-1 to 30-96, inclusive of Chapter 30 of the Prince
George's County Code, 19__ edition, title, "Fairmount Heights,"
the said Sections being the Charter of the Town of Fairmount
Heights.
[Sections 30-1 through 30-96 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Prince George's County, as found in the compilation of
Municipal Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition), repealed, and
Sections 1-1 through 1-93, Charter of the Town of Fairmount
Heights, Prince George's County, added.

ORDINANCE NO. 131
RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF FEDERALSBURG TO ADD
TO THE CORPORATE BOUNDARIES OF SAID MUNICIPAL CORPORATION,
SUBJECT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE CHARTER OF SAID MUNICIPAL
CORPORATION, TWENTY-FIVE PERCENTUM (25%) OF THE PERSONS WHO
RESIDE IN THE AREA TO BE ANNEXED AND WHO ARE REGISTERED AS VOTERS
IN COUNTY ELECTIONS AND TWENTY-FIVE PERCENTUM (25%) OF THE OWNERS
OF THE ASSESSED VALUATION OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE AREA
HAVING CONSENTED THERETO, BY REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 118 OF THE
ORDINANCES OF SAID TOWN AS PASSED AND MADE EFFECTIVE ON FEBRUARY
22nd, 1979, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF
THE TOWN OF FEDERALSBURG AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
INCONSISTENT THEREWITH"; AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF, A NEW
ORDINANCE DELINEATING THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE SAID TOWN SO
THAT THERE SHALL BE INCLUDED WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE
SAID TOWN APPROXIMATELY 42 ACRES LOCATED TO THE SOUTHWEST CORNER
OF THE PRESENT CORPORATE LIMITS OF SAID TOWN LYING CONTIGUOUS TO
RAILROAD AVENUE AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY THE PROPERTY REFERRED
TO AS "CAROLINE POULTRY" AS DESCRIBED IN A DEED FROM CAROLINE
