MUNICIPAL CHARTERS

of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, entitled
"Municipal Corporations", as said Section was enacted by Chapter
423 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, 1955,
entitled "A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF
CUMBERLAND, MARYLAND (1966 EDITION), BY REPEALING AND REENACTING,
WITH AMENDMENTS, SECTION 12(c) AND 12(d) OF SAID CHARTER TO
PROVIDE FOR THE DATE OF TAKING OF OFFICE OF THE MAYOR AND
COUNCILMEN."

RESOLUTION NO. 91

RESOLUTION of the Mayor and City Council of Cumberland,
Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority contained in Article
11-E of the Constitution of the State of Maryland and Section 12
of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, entitled
"Municipal Corporations", as said Section was enacted by Chapter
423 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, 1955,
entitled "A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF
CUMBERLAND, MARYLAND (1966 EDITION), TO PROVIDE FOR THE AMENDMENT
OF SECTION 23 OF THE CHARTER WITH REGARD TO THE MEETINGS OF THE
MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL."

ANNEXATION RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION of the Mayor and City Council to enlarge the
Corporate Boundaries of the City of Cumberland and thereby amend
the Charter of the City of Cumberland.

WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the Mayor and City
Council of Cumberland, held on the 17th day of May, 1983, there
was accepted a Petition, in writing, signed by persons who are
owners of certain real property lying and being contiguous to the
existing Corporate Boundary Line of the City of Cumberland,
