Whereas the Mayor and Council of Crisfield have received a
petition from E. Scott Tawes and James E. Dodson, requesting
annexation to City of real property owned by them by virtue of a
deed recorded among the Land Records of Somerset County in Liber
I.T.P. No. 318, folio 310.

CHARTER AMENDMENT
RESOLUTION NO. 87

RESOLUTION of the Mayor and City Council of Cumberland,
Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority contained in Article
11-E of the Constitution of the State of Maryland, and Section 13
of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, entitled
"Municipal Corporations", as said Section was enacted by Chapter
423 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, 1955,
entitled "A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF
CUMBERLAND, MARYLAND (1966 EDITION), BY REPEALING AND REENACTING,
WITH AMENDMENTS, SECTION 78 PROVIDING FOR THE ENFORCEMENT OF THE
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CUMBERLAND AND SECTION 79 PROVIDING FOR
THE RECOVERY OF FINES IMPOSED FOR THE VIOLATION OF THE ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF CUMBERLAND AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE DESIGNATION OF
THE VIOLATION OF CERTAIN ORDINANCES AS MUNICIPAL INFRACTIONS."

[Section(s) 78 and 79 of the Charter of the City of
Cumberland, Allegany County, repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.

Effective Date November 30, 1982]
