RESOLUTION NO. 284
CHARTER AMENDMENT NO. 35
TITLE: A Resolution of the Commissioners of Aberdeen
Adopted Pursuant to the Authority of Article 11E of the
Constitution of Maryland and of Article 23A of the Annotated Code
of Maryland, Title: "Corporations - Municipal" and specifically
pursuant to Section 3 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, which Resolution, if adopted would amend the Charter of
Aberdeen, Maryland and the public local laws of Harford County,
being a part of Article 13 of said Code of Public Local Laws,
specifically Section 18. Said amendment, if adopted, will
eliminate a portion of said Section 18 dealing with Imprisonment
in Default of Payment of Fines and Increasing . the maximum
penalties for violation of Town Ordinances from the existing
$100.00 fine and 30-day imprisonment to $500.00 fine and 90-days
imprisonment.

Maryland (1983 Edition), repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

RESOLUTION NO. 285
CHARTER AMENDMENT NO. 36
TITLE: A Resolution of the Commissioners of Aberdeen,
Adopted Pursuant to the Authority of Article 11E of the
Constitution of Maryland and of Article 23A of the Annotated Code
of Maryland, Title: "Corporations -- Municipal" and specifically
pursuant to Section 3 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, which Resolution, if adopted, would amend the Charter
of Aberdeen, Maryland and the public local laws of Harford
County, being a part of Article 13 of said Public Local Laws,
specifically, Section 44. Said Amendment, if adopted, will
provide that the Town may discontinue water service at a Town
property forty (40) days after sending a billing for water and/or
sewerage charges. Said amendment changes the date of
discontinuance of water service from the present sixty (60) days
to forty (40) days.
