(2)  The bonds issued to evidence this loan or installments
thereof may be sold as a single issue, or may be consolidated and
sold as part of a single issue of bonds under 2B of Article 31
of the Code.

(3)  The actual cash proceeds of the sale of the bonds shall
be paid to the Treasurer and shall be first applied to the
payment of the expenses of issuing and delivering the bonds
unless funds for this purpose are otherwise provided and
thereafter shall be credited on the books of the State
Comptroller and expended, upon approval by the Board of Public
Works, for the following public purposes, including any
applicable architects' and engineers' fees:

GENERAL CONSTRUCTION LOAN OF 1984

(A)  Board of Public Works:

(1)   State Government Center - Annapolis:

(a)  Correct building deficiencies................ 578,000

(b)   Implement third phase recommendations from

Energy Audit................................. 560,000

(2)   State Office Center - Baltimore:

(a) Replace elevator controls in State Building

#1........................................... 208,000

(3)  General:

(a)  Renovate and alter State Office Building at

108 E. Lexington Street (Baltimore City)..... 2,375,000

(b)  Modify state-owned buildings to provide

program accessibility for the handicapped.... 1,000,000

(c)  Construct demonstration projects to reduce
pollution from stormwater runoff at existing
State facilities. This stormwater management
demonstration program shall be administered
by the Maryland Environmental Service in
consultation with the Department of State
Planning and the Office of Environmental

Programs..................................... 1,000,000

(B)  Military Department:

(1) Renovate Oakland Armory, contingent on and
supplementary to federal funds being made
available for this purpose (Garrett County).. 375,000
