(f) The Governor may remove a member for incompetence,
misconduct, neglect of duty, or other sufficient cause.

[17-203.] 5.5-203.

(a)  From among its members, the Board annually shall elect
a chairman, a vice chairman, and a secretary.

(b)  The manner of election of officers shall be as the
Board determines.

[17-204.] 5.5-204.

(a)  Four members of the Board are a quorum.

(b) (1) The Board shall meet at least [once] TWICE a year,
at the times and places that the Board determines.

(2) Special meetings of the Board shall be called by
the Board secretary at:

(i) The written request of [two] 2 Board
members or [ten] 5 registered [sanitarians] ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH
PRACTITIONERS SANITARIANS; or

(ii) The direction of the Secretary of Health
and Mental Hygiene.

(c)  A member of the Board:

(1)  May not receive compensation; but AND

(2)  Is entitled to reimbursement for expenses under
the Standard State Travel Regulations, as provided in the State
budget.

(d)  The Board may employ a staff in accordance with the
State budget.

[17-205.] 5.5-205.

(a)  In addition to the powers set forth elsewhere in this
title, the Board may adopt rules, regulations, and bylaws as may
be necessary to carry out the provisions of this title.

(b)  In addition to the duties set forth elsewhere in this
title, the Board shall:

(1)  Keep a current record of all registered
[sanitarians and sanitarians in training] ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH
PRACTITIONERS SANITARIANS;

(2)  Collect and account for fees provided under this
