AN ACT concerning

Anne Arundel County - Wild Waterfowl -
Stationary Blind License - Exceptions

FOR the purpose of exempting Anne Arundel County from certain
registration and fee requirements for certain stationary
blind sites for waterfront public property owned by and
located in the county; and allowing the Anne Arundel County
Recreation and Parks Department to comply with certain laws
by notifying a certain court and the Department of Natural
Resources of the county's intention to use these stationary
blind sites.

BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,

Section 10-612(a), (b), and (c)(1) and (2)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1983 Replacement Volume and 1983 Supplement)

BY adding to

Article - Natural Resources

Section 10-612(c)(3)

Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Natural Resources

10-612.

(a)  For the purposes of this subtitle, the required amount
of shoreline is 500 yards. However, in Baltimore County and on
the tributaries of the Potomac River in Charles County it is 250
yards, and in Chesapeake Bay opposite Anne Arundel and Calvert
counties it is 700 yards.

(b)  Except as provided in subsection (c) of this section, a
license for a stationary blind or blind site in the water in
front of riparian property shall be issued in accordance with the
following schedule of priorities.
