[(e)] (D) The Board may not require a licensee who
applies for a renewal of the license to take an examination.
[(f)] (E) The Board shall renew the license of each
licensee who meets the requirements of this section.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July June July 1, 1984.

AN ACT concerning
Crabs - Catching for Noncommercial Purposes
FOR the purpose of prohibiting a person from catching crabs for
noncommercial purposes before a certain time; and
prohibiting a person from catching crabs noncommercial
purposes if the person uses a trotline or sets a crab pot
within a certain distance of a certain other trotline. FOR
the purpose of altering the length of trotline that a person
may use before the person is required to obtain a license to
catch crabs for noncommercial purposes; increasing the fee
that a resident must pay for a license to catch crabs for
noncommercial purposes; prohibiting a person from coming
setting or fishing a trotline or collapsible crab trap
within a certain distance of another person's a trotline;
altering the daily catch limit of crabs per boat for certain
unlicensed persons; and providing a daily catch limit per
licensee who catches crabs for noncommercial purposes.
