THE INTENT TO OBTAIN CABLE TELEVISION SERVICES WITHOUT PAYMENT.
(B) A PERSON MAY NOT PREVENT, OBSTRUCT, OR DELAY THE
SENDING, TRANSMISSION, CONVEYANCE, DISTRIBUTION, OR RECEIPT OF
PROGRAMMING MATERIAL TRANSMITTED BY A FRANCHISED CABLE TELEVISION
COMPANY OR PRIVATE CABLE TELEVISION COMPANY.
(C) IF A PERSON DESTROYS, DAMAGES, CUTS TAMPERS WITH,
(B) IF A PERSON TAMPERS WITH, INSTALLS, TAPS, REMOVES,
DISPLACES, OR MAKES ANY CONNECTION WITH ANY WIRE, CONDUIT,
APPARATUS, OR OTHER EQUIPMENT OF A FRANCHISED CABLE TELEVISION
COMPANY OR PRIVATE CABLE TELEVISION COMPANY, IT SHALL BE PRIMA
FACIE EVIDENCE OF AN INTENT TO OBTAIN CABLE TELEVISION SERVICES
WITHOUT PAYMENT.
(D)(C) ANY PERSON WHO VIOLATES ANY PROVISION OF THIS
SECTION IS GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR AND ON CONVICTION IS SUBJECT
TO A FINE NOT EXCEEDING $500, OR IMPRISONMENT NOT EXCEEDING 18 6
MONTHS, OR BOTH.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.

AN ACT concerning
Child Abuse and Neglect - Medical Care - Costs
FOR the purpose of providing that the local health department
Department of Health and Mental Hygiene pay certain
emergency medical treatment charges for children who are
alleged victims of abuse or neglect in a certain manner;
requiring that the parent or guardian of a child given
certain emergency medical treatment secure certain medical
benefit payments; defining terms; clarifying language;
providing that the Governor shall provide certain funds in
the annual State budget; and generally relating to the
emergency medical treatment charges for certain children.
