take effect July 1, 1984.

AN ACT concerning
Fraud - Upon Cable Television Companies
FOR the purpose of providing that a person may not destroy,
damage, tamper with, install, or remove any equipment of a
franchised or private cable television company with the
intent to obtain cable television service without payment;
providing that a person may not obtain cable television
services by certain means without payment to certain cable
television companies; providing that a person may not
prevent, obstruct, or delay certain material transmitted by
certain cable television companies; providing that certain
acts taken with respect to cable television companies shall
be prima facie evidence of intent to obtain cable television
services without payment; providing for certain penalties
for violations of this Act; and generally relating to fraud
upon cable television companies.

WIRE, CONDUIT, APPARATUS, OR OTHER EQUIPMENT OF A FRANCHISED
CABLE TELEVISION COMPANY OR PRIVATE CABLE TELEVISION COMPANY WITH
