(I)  21 MEMBERS FROM THE PUBLIC AT LARGE;

(II)   1 MEMBER RECOMMENDED BY EACH OF THE
FOLLOWING ORGANIZATIONS:

1.   MARYLAND STATE-D.C. AFL/CIO

2.  MARYLAND ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES

3.   MARYLAND ASSOCIATION OF HOUSING AND
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCIES

4.   MARYLAND INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
ASSOCIATION

5.   MARYLAND MUNICIPAL LEAGUE

6.   MARYLAND STATE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

7.   MARYLAND TRAVEL COUNCIL

8.   SOCIETY OF INDUSTRIAL REALTORS

(3)  THE TERM OF A MEMBER IS 4 YEARS BEGINNING JULY 1,
1983.

(4)  AT THE END OF A TERM, A MEMBER CONTINUES TO SERVE
UNTIL A SUCCESSOR IS APPOINTED AND QUALIFIES.

(5)  A MEMBER APPOINTED TO FILL A VACANCY IN AN
UNEXPIRED TERM OR TO SUCCEED A MEMBER WHO IS HOLDING OVER SERVES
ONLY FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE TERM.

(6)  MEMBERS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR REAPPOINTMENT.

(7)  THE SECRETARY SHALL DESIGNATE A CHAIRMAN AND A
VICE CHAIRMAN OF THE COMMISSION.

(8)  EACH MEMBER SERVES WITHOUT COMPENSATION BUT IS
ENTITLED TO REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES UNDER THE STANDARD STATE
TRAVEL REGULATIONS.

(9)  THE ADVISORY COMMISSION SHALL ADVISE AND ASSIST
THE SECRETARY     ON MATTERS PERTAINING TO POLICIES, PROGRAMS, AND
ACTIVITIES OF     THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the individuals
who were appointed to the Advisory Commission created by the
Secretary of Economic and Community Development and who are
members of that Advisory Commission as of June 30, 1984 shall
serve the remainder of their terms as the initial members of the
Advisory Commission created pursuant to this Act.
