33.02.00.03 Social Services

General Fund Appropriation.........

Special Fund Appropriation.........

Federal Fund Appropriation,
provided that the federal funds
received in excess of the federal
funds appropriation from the
Social Services Block Grant shall
not be expended but shall be
placed in the federal fund
reserve for the block grant until
the reserve fund for the block
grant is increased by an amount
equivalent to the roll back
funds. After the reserve fund
for those block grants is
increased by an amount equivalent
to the roll back funds, any
additional excess funds may be
made available by approved budget
amendment. Provided further that
if the Governor determines it is
imperative for the excess federal
funds to be expended and not be
placed in the federal fund
reserve, the Governor shall
submit this request to the
Legislative Policy Committee for

approval or disapproval. The

Department shall also report to
the Budget Committees as to the
amount of funds available in

excess of the original

appropriation from the Social
Services Block Grant.............

Funds are appropriated in the
amount of $2,240,964 in the
Office on Aging (23.01.07) for
social service programs for the
aged. Authorization is hereby
granted to transfer and use these
funds as special receipts for
operating expenses under this
program.
