AN ACT concerning

Juvenile Facilities - Waiver Determinations

FOR the purpose of authorizing a certain court to order a minor
to be held in a juvenile facility pending a determination to
waive the case to the Juvenile Court.

BY adding to

Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments

Section 594A(f)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

594A.

(F) THE COURT MAY ORDER A MINOR TO BE HELD IN A JUVENILE
FACILITY PENDING A DETERMINATION UNDER THIS SECTION TO WAIVE
JURISDICTION OVER THE CASE INVOLVING THE MINOR TO THE JUVENILE
COURT.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.

notice of eviction and the time in which notice shall be
