AN ACT concerning

Tidal Fish Licenses - Processing Fee for Court Clerk

FOR the purpose of altering the amount of a processing fee that a
court clerk shall charge an applicant for certain activities
under a tidal fish license.

FOR the purpose of repealing a tidal fish license surcharge
collected by the court clerk as a processing fee; and
providing that a court clerk shall retain as a processing
fee a certain percentage of the annual license fee charged
an applicant for certain activities under a tidal fish
license; and providing for a delayed effective date.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

4-701.

(b) The Department shall utilize a single license, called a
tidal fish license. A tidal fish license shall authorize the
licensee to engage in each activity indicated on the license.

(d) (1) The following annual license fees shall apply:

(i) To provide services as a fishing guide in
tidal waters pursuant to § 4-210:
