APPLICATION HAS BEEN ENGAGED CONTINUOUSLY IN PRACTICE AS A TREE
EXPERT WITH A LICENSED TREE EXPERT IN MARYLAND OR WITH AN
ACCEPTABLE TREE EXPERT COMPANY IN ANOTHER STATE; AND (4) has
passed the examination given by the Department.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.

AN ACT concerning

Inmates - Sexual Offenses

FOR the purpose of including certain sexual offenses and the
attempt to commit certain sexual offenses and assault with
intent to commit a sexual offense in the crimes for which an
inmate may receive, upon conviction, a consecutive sentence
to the sentence that the inmate is serving at the time of
the commission of the crime; and generally relating to the
conviction of inmates for certain crimes and the attempt to
commit certain crimes.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments

692A.

(a) Any inmate of any penal or treatment institution
administered by the Division of Correction who is convicted of a
sexual offense under [§] §§ 464 [or], 464A, 464B, OR 464C of this
article, IS CONVICTED OF AN ASSAULT WITH INTENT TO COMMIT A
SEXUAL OFFENSE UNDER § 12 OF THIS ARTICLE, OR WHO IS CONVICTED OF
AN ATTEMPT TO COMMIT A SEXUAL OFFENSE UNDER THOSE SECTIONS OR WHO
IS CONVICTED OF AN ATTEMPT TO COMMIT A SEXUAL OFFENSE UNDER THOSE
SECTIONS, OR WHO IS CONVICTED OF AN ASSAULT WITH INTENT TO COMMIT
A SEXUAL OFFENSE either as a principal or aider or abettor shall
