10-102. STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS FOR CONTEMPT PROCEEDING.

A CONTEMPT PROCEEDING FOR FAILURE TO MAKE A PAYMENT OF CHILD
OR SPOUSAL SUPPORT UNDER A COURT ORDER SHALL BE BROUGHT WITHIN 3
YEARS OF THE DATE THAT THE PAYMENT OF SUPPORT BECAME DUE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Article 16, §
5C.

The phrase "the payment" is substituted for the former
phrase "each installment", for consistency.

The word "periodic", which formerly modified "child or
spousal support", is deleted as unnecessary. See also
CJ § 5-111.
