REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsections (a) and (b)(1), (2), and (3) of
this section are new language derived without
substantive change from former Article 88A, § 114(1)
and the first through fifth sentences of § 115(b).

Subsection (b)(4) of this section is added as standard
language. It follows from the requirement that there
be set terms. An inherent aspect of set terms is that
they must begin and end at set intervals.

Defined terms: "Local board" § 5-501
"State Board" § 5-501

5-537. SAME -- CHAIRMAN.
