provided that $50,000 of this
appropriation may not be expended
for the purpose of operations
management service, but only for
the hiring of key bus operations

personnel as State employees

continuing the ATE contract.

provided that $315,000 of this

appropriation for operations

management services may only be
expended on the services contract
until such time as the Secretary
of Transportation successfully
establishes requisite salaries
for the positions of Director of
Transit Operations, Assistant
Director of Transit Operations,
Director of Maintenance and
Director of Transportation and
successfully fills the above

management positions.

Competitive wage scales shall be
established and available for
hiring by June 1, 1985. Any
unexpended funds for this purpose

shall revert to the

Transportation Trust Fund........
