(C) Bills for all expenses of [said] THE Bureau [must]
SHALL be presented [direct] DIRECTLY to the County Commissioners
for THEIR payment [by the County Commissioners,]. THE BILLS
SHALL BE made out and sworn to on [the regular] forms REGULARLY
[in use] USED by the County Commissioners and [must] SHALL be
certified to by the State's Attorney[, and all]. ANY false
swearing in [such] THE affidavits [shall be deemed] IS perjury

32-2. Same; stenographer.
[From and after June 1, 1943, it shall be the duty of the
State's Attorney for Washington County to employ, subject]
SUBJECT to the approval of AND AT SALARIES SET BY the County
Commissioners [of Washington County], THE STATE'S ATTORNEY SHALL
EMPLOY competent persons [at salaries as set by the County
Commissioners, the persons so employed to be capable of doing] TO
PERFORM the necessary[,] stenographic and clerical work in the
office of the State's Attorney and Criminal Investigator for
Washington County, WITH THE WORK TO BE DONE under the direction
and supervision of the [said] State's Attorney. The County
Commissioners [of Washington County] shall pay [the] salaries
[provided for under the terms of this section,] in weekly
installments[,] to the persons [so] employed by the State's
Attorney [for Washington County,] and shall [levy for the same]
BUDGET FOR THEM as expenses of the State's Attorney's office.

32-3. State's Attorney's office; duties.
The State's Attorney, the Deputy State's Attorney or an
Assistant State's Attorney [of Washington County] shall be in
attendance and available to the District Court for Washington
County at all times requisite for prosecuting cases, consulting
with the court, and rendering other services as are connected
with, or in furtherance of, the performance of the duties of the
office of State's Attorney or otherwise mandated for the State's
Attorney of Washington County. (1973, ch. 142, sec. 32-3.)

34-1 through 34-5 Repealed by Chapter 283 of 1972.

(1) Ch. 283 of 1972, which repealed these sections 34-1,
34-2, 34-3, 34-4, and 34-5, took effect on July 1, 1972. Section
2 of the Act provided that "this Act shall not be construed as
abrogating the right of the County Tax Collector to collect any
taxes due and payable as of the effective date of this Act or to
conduct tax sale proceedings on any trailer upon which taxes are
in arrears."
