LAWS OF MARYLAND

Ch. 289

All fees collected under the provisions of this subtitle
shall be collected by and used by the Board of Examiners and
Supervisors to defray the necessary expenses of [said] THE Board.
[and the] THE remainder [thereof] OF THE FUNDS shall be delivered
to the [Board of] County Commissioners [of Washington County] on
[the first day of] June 1 in each year. (1957 Code, sec. 221.

12-15. Board's report to County Commissioners.

[It shall be the duty of the said] THE Board, before the
first Monday of May of each year, [to] SHALL make a report in
writing to the [Board of] County Commissioners [of Washington
County, containing] THAT CONTAINS a detailed statement of the
nature of the receipts and manner of expenditure. (1957 Code,
sec. 222. 1951, ch. 328, sec. 179-0.)

12-16. Occupations not covered by subtitle.

[The provisions of this] THIS subtitle [shall] DOES not
apply to any electrical light company, electric railway company,
steam railway company, telegraph or telephone company, nor to
those persons, whether employees or not, performing electrical
work for [such] THOSE companies. (1957 Code, sec. 223. 1951, ch.
328, sec. 179P.)

12-17. Meter cut-in certificates required.

(A)   [After June 1, 1951, no] AN electric light or power
company [shall] MAY NOT attach its power lines or electric meters
to any consumer's property within the borders of Washington
County unless and until a temporary or permanent meter cut-in
certificate has been issued by the Middle Department Association
of Fire Underwriters AGENCY AUTHORIZED TO ISSUE THE CERTIFICATE
BY THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.

(B) [Said] THE department shall issue a meter cut in
certificate in duplicate[,]. [one] ONE of [said] THE certificates
shall be sent to the power or electric company furnishing the
electricity for the consumer's property, and the other shall be
sent to the Board of Electrical Examiners and Supervisors.

(C) The meter cut in certificate delivered to the Board[,]
shall contain a record of the amount of the fee or fees collected
on [said] THE certificate.

(B) THE AUTHORIZED AGENCY SHALL ISSUE A METER CUT-IN CARD
TO THE POWER OR ELECTRIC COMPANY FURNISHING THE ELECTRICITY TO
THE CONSUMER'S PROPERTY. (1957 Code, sec. 224. 1951, ch. 328,
sec. 179Q.)

12-18. Separability provision.

If any provision of this subtitle is declared
