(1) [endorse] ENDORSE upon [such] THE application the
date of its filing[, and];
(2) [shall preserve the same] PRESERVE IT as a record
of office[, and shall make];
(3) MAKE an abstract of the facts set forth in [such]
THE application[,]; and
(4) [shall indicate] INDICATE whether the license was
granted or refused.
(d) False statements. Any person making a false statement
in the application [provided] for A CLOSING-OUT SALE [in this
section shall, upon conviction, be deemed] IS guilty of perjury.

7-3. Special purchases.
(A) [No person in) IN contemplation of a LICENSED
closing-out sale, [under a license as provided for in Section 7-2
shall] A PERSON MAY NOT order any goods, wares, or merchandise
for the purpose of selling and disposing of [the same] THEM at
such sale.
(B) [, and any] ANY unusual purchase and additions to the
stock of such goods, wares, or merchandise within 60 days [prior
to] BEFORE the filing of application for a license to conduct
such sale shall be presumptive evidence that [such] THE purchases

7-4. Damaged goods.
(A) [No] A person LICENSED FOR carrying on or conducting a
closing-out sale or a sale of goods, wares, or merchandise
damaged by fire, smoke, water, or otherwise[, under a license as
provided in Section 7-2 shall], during the continuance of [such]

7-5. Termination date.
