is substituted for the former, general language "[i]n
appointing members".

Also in subsection (b) of this section, the words
"preferably shall appoint individuals who have" are
substituted for the former words "shall select persons
who preferably have had", for clarity.

Also in subsection (b) of this section, the former
word "licenses" is deleted as unnecessary in light of
the definition of the term "development permit".

11-204. CHAIRMAN.

GOVERNOR SHALL APPOINT A CHAIRMAN.

11-205. MEETINGS; COMPENSATION.

(A)  MEETINGS.

THE COUNCIL SHALL MEET AT LEAST QUARTERLY, ON THE CALL OF
ITS CHAIRMAN OR THE COORDINATOR.

(B)  REIMBURSEMENT.

EACH APPOINTED MEMBER OF THE COUNCIL IS ENTITLED TO
REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES UNDER THE STANDARD STATE TRAVEL
REGULATIONS, AS PROVIDED IN THE STATE BUDGET.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Art. 78A, §
57A(d) and the first clause of the first sentence of
(e)(1).

In subsection (b) of this section, the reference to
the "Standard State Travel Regulations, as provided in
the State budget" is substituted for the former
reference to "reasonable expenses incurred as a
member", for clarity. Standard State Travel
Regulations are adopted by the Department of Personnel
with the approval of the Board of Public Works.
