TITLE 11. CONSOLIDATED PROCEDURES FOR DEVELOPMENT PERMITS.

SUBTITLE 1. DEFINITIONS; GENERAL PROVISIONS.

11-101. DEFINITIONS.

(A)   IN GENERAL.

UNLESS THE CONTEXT REQUIRES OTHERWISE, IN THIS TITLE THE
FOLLOWING WORDS HAVE THE MEANINGS INDICATED.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language derived
without substantive change from former Art. 78A, §
57(a).

(B)  APPLICANT.

"APPLICANT" MEANS A PERSON OR GOVERNMENTAL UNIT THAT APPLIES
FOR A DEVELOPMENT PERMIT.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language added to
standardize the references to an applicant for a
development permit and, thus, to clarify references to
a person or governmental unit proposing a development
project, but not necessarily applying for the
development permits.

"Governmental unit" § 11-101 "Person" § 1-101

(C)  COORDINATOR.

"COORDINATOR" MEANS THE STATE PERMIT COORDINATOR.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language substituted
for former Art. 78A, § 57(g), which generally
described the position.

(D)  DEVELOPMENT PERMIT.

"DEVELOPMENT PERMIT" MEANS A PERMIT FOR A DEVELOPMENT
PROJECT.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language added to
allow concise reference to the type of permit to which
this title applies and is intended., to be read in
conjunction with the definition of "permit".
