LAWS OF MARYLAND

Ch. 284

In subsection (a)(1) and (3) of this section, the
references to "this Part III of this subtitle" are
substituted for the former, apparently erroneous
cross-reference to "this article" -- i.e., former Art.

specific penalties and, therefore, seemingly were not
meant to be covered by former Art. 76A, § 5(e)(1) or
(2).

"Public record" § 10-611

10-628. NO LIABILITY.

A CUSTODIAN IS NOT CIVILLY OR CRIMINALLY LIABLE FOR
TRANSFERRING OR DISCLOSING THE CONTENTS OF A PUBLIC RECORD TO THE
ATTORNEY GENERAL UNDER ARTICLE 64A, § 12J OF THE CODE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Art. 76A, §
5(f).

Defined terms: "Custodian" § 10-601
"Public record" § 10-611

10-629. RESERVED.

10-630. RESERVED.

PART IV. RECORDS MANAGEMENT.

THE MEANINGS INDICATED.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language used as the
standard introductory language to a definition
section.

(B)  COMMISSION.

"COMMISSION" MEANS THE STATE HALL OF RECORDS COMMISSION.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language added to
avoid repetition of the full title "State Hall of
