(A)   IN GENERAL.

IN THIS PART II OF THIS SUBTITLE THE FOLLOWING WORDS HAVE
THE MEANINGS INDICATED.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language derived
without substantive change from the introductory
language of former Art. 54, § 13(a).

(B)  DEPARTMENT.

"DEPARTMENT" MEANS A PRINCIPAL DEPARTMENT OF THE EXECUTIVE
BRANCH OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language added to
avoid repetition of the former reference to a
"principal department headed by a secretary".

(C)  DIVISION.

"DIVISION" MEANS THE RECORDS MANAGEMENT DIVISION OF THE
STATE HALL OF RECORDS COMMISSION.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language added to
avoid repetition of the full title "Records Management
Division of the State Hall of Records Commission".

(D)  FORM.

"FORM" MEANS A DOCUMENT THAT HAS A STANDARD FORMAT FOR THE
SYSTEMATIC AND REPETITIVE COLLECTION, MAINTENANCE, OR
TRANSMISSION OF INFORMATION.
