In a letter dated February 20, 1950 and addressed to then
Governor Lane, the Commission recommended its dissolution, and
the Governor complied, in a letter to the Chairman of the
Commission dated March 27, 1950.

10-101. DEFINITIONS.

(A)   IN GENERAL.

IN THIS SUBTITLE THE FOLLOWING WORDS HAVE THE MEANINGS
INDICATED.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language derived
without substantive change from former Art. 41, §
256B(a) and the introductory language of § 244.

The former phrase "unless otherwise provided" is
deleted as surplusage.

(B)  ADMINISTRATOR.

"ADMINISTRATOR" MEANS THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE DIVISION OF
STATE DOCUMENTS.

41, § 256B(g).

The only changes are in style.

(C)  COMMITTEE.

"COMMITTEE" MEANS THE JOINT COMMITTEE ON ADMINISTRATIVE,
EXECUTIVE, AND LEGISLATIVE REVIEW.

without substantive change from former Art. 41, §
256B(b).

The word "Joint" is added to conform to § 2-502 of
this article.

(D)  REGISTER.

"REGISTER" MEANS THE MARYLAND REGISTER.
