FISCAL YEAR IN WHICH THE GRANT FUNDS ARE RECEIVED BUT WERE NOT
INCLUDED IN THE CURRENT OPERATING OR CAPITAL BUDGETS OR RECEIVED
AFTER THE ADOPTION OF THE CURRENT OPERATING OR CAPITAL BUDGETS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.

AN ACT concerning

Carroll County - Animal Control - Dogs

FOR the purpose of requiring the County Commissioners of Carroll
County to provide for payment for losses due to injury to or
destruction of any sheep, poultry, or livestock by dogs and
setting a limit thereon.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 198(i)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 56 - Licenses

198.

(i) In CARROLL AND Frederick [County] COUNTIES, the Board
of County Commissioners shall prescribe by ordinance or
resolution the manner in which the powers, duties, and
responsibilities placed within its jurisdiction and control by
this section shall be exercised. An award granted by the county
commissioners for damages may not exceed $300.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1984.
